LegalAccessibility Statement
Krumbein Consumer Legal Services, Inc. is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities.
Last updated: June 1, 2026
Our commitment
We believe everyone should be able to access information about their consumer rights. We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability, and to maintaining that commitment as the Site evolves.
Conformance standard
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML structure with descriptive headings and landmarks;
- A “skip to content” link for keyboard and screen-reader users;
- Text alternatives for meaningful images;
- Color combinations chosen for sufficient contrast;
- A layout that adapts to mobile devices and to enlarged text;
- Support for keyboard navigation and respect for reduced-motion preferences.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We periodically review the Site and work to address known issues. Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible, and third-party tools or links are outside our direct control.
